Zucker: Republican is "the new gay"

I have consistently said that the straight-Christian-white-Conservative-male is the only "group" left who hasn't demanded special treatment from the law and is the only one which can be openly bashed and discriminated against while people laugh on the side-lines. I don't want special treatment here, I just think the hypocrisy is blinding.

Obama Is Stoking Racial Antagonism

What I have found is that those who do not like Mr.Limbaugh have not taken the time to listen to him. I don't agree with everything that he says, but he is far from embodying the attacks that are so routinely leveled in his direction. I understand the rough and tumble of politics. But Barack Obama -- the supposedly post-partisan, post-racial candidate of hope and change -- has gone where few modern candidates have gone before.

Whether we want to own up to it or not, the welfare state has done what Jim Crow, gross discrimination and poverty could not have done. It has contributed to the breakdown of the black family structure and has helped establish a set of values alien to traditional values of high moral standards, hard work and achievement.
